The cute and talented Muskaan Mehani is a tad worried these days. Why? Well her new SAB TV show Bhai Bhaiya aur Brother is not really setting the TRP charts on fire.
This Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Deven Bhojani produced rib-tickler about three married brothers who get back to living together is rating just 0.5 TVR.
“I don’t know why the numbers are just not coming, rather they are dipping, we have dropped a 0.1 since last week,” shares Muskaan.
Muskaan, who is playing the London returned bahu Jennifer Chawla says, “Wherever I go people talk about Bhai Bhaiya and the channel has really promoted it very well. I get lots of positive feedback online as well. People call and praise my work and the show from all over the world. We all are working very hard and the concept is also unique and interesting and plus we are also giving a social message that we should return to the joint family setting. Yet all this is not showing on the ratings front. One possible reason could be that have we have been given the highly competitive 8 pm slot which also has biggie shows like Balika Vadhu and Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon airing on rival channels.”
So how is the atmosphere on the sets considering this unfortunate situation? “The entire cast is worried about the future of Bhai Bhaiya given these low ratings, consludes Muskaan.
Their fear is not wrong for SAB has quickly taken of shows like I Luv My India which were rating on similar lines. And if the show does end soon, then it will be a sad day for Muskaan who has been a favorite SAB TV girl prior to this. She has done Jugni Chali Jalandhar and Ring Wrong Ring on the same family comedy channel earlier.
