MUMBAI: Star Plus' show Imlie has been working wonders on the small screen.

Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Gashmeer Mahajani play the lead roles of Imlie and Aditya on the show.

Imlie launched on the small screens last year in November. The show became everyone's favourite in no time.

We all know how Aditya and Imlie's wedding happened at gunpoint on the show and it changed their lives forever.

Imlie accepted Aditya as her husband but Aditya was in love with Malini at that time. However, circumstances changed with time and Aditya finally realised his love for Imlie.  This has further created problems for Malini who felt betrayed.

The relationships in Imlie have become quite complicated.

And now, Imlie and Aditya's marriage truth is out in front of the Tripathi family.  No one is happy to hear this and things are going to be tough for Imlie.

However, there are a few family members who have understood Aditya and Imlie's situation and supported them.

It is none other than Aditya's cousin Nishant and his wife Pallavi.

Nishant's role is being portrayed by Arham Abbasi.

The actor got candid about the upcoming track in Imlie with TellyChakkar.

When asked about the entire situation of Aditya and Imlie's marriage and the aftereffect of that on the Tripathi family, Arham said, ''Nishant has already understood Aditya and he has also supported him. In fact, Pallavi and Rupi have also stood by Aditya's side. The elders are right at their place. How can they accept such a big truth so easily? There's a cold war going on in the family right now.''

Further, when asked if Nishant will stand by Aditya if things go out of hand, he said, ''Obviously this is going to happen. I feel Nishant should definitely stand by Aditya given the fact they really share a great bond. They are extremely fond of each other. I feel that even if my brother had committed a mistake, I would have stood by his side.''

Nishant and Aditya's bond is beautifully shown on the show.  Both are not real brothers but they share a deep bond.

It will be interesting to see how Nishant's support will further help Imlie and Aditya create the same place in everyone's heart in the Tripathi family.
