MUMBAI: Producer Ekta Kapoor created a massive buzz after she announced the new show Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 with Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar. The new show is a sequel to the 2011 show Bade Acche Lagte Hain, starring Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar.
While the excitement about the show is at its peak, Ekta Kapoor took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post. She posted a throwback picture of her parents Jeetendra and Shobha Kapoor from their wedding day and called them her ‘Ram Aur Priya’ - the iconic characters of her iconic show.

In the wedding day's picture, Shobha Kapoor is dressed as a beautiful bride, while Jeetendra is standing right next to his bride. He has a big smile on his face.
In the picture, the couple is seen cutting the wedding cake after their wedding rituals. The newlyweds have the wedding varmala around their neck.

Interestingly, the reel video shared by the producer had background music of the ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ song.
In the caption, Ekta showered love on her mom and dad. She wrote, “Mere ram aur Priya always #badeacchelagtehain yeh Dharti yeh nadiya yeh Raina aur tum …dono.".

On Ekta Kapoor’s post, Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 actor Nakuul Mehta commented, “Eternal Happiness.”, Shraddha Arya dropped red hearts on the post and Smriti Irani wrote, “Happiness.".
The makers recently released the promos of Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2. They show Disha Parmar and Nakuul Mehta having a conversation about love and marriage.
