MUMBAI: Rati Pandey is one of the most popular actresses on the small screen. 

The diva was last seen as Preeti Jindal in Star Plus' show Shaadi Mubarak. 

Rati stepped in Rajshri Thakur's shoes who made an exit from the show just after a few months. 

The viewers accepted Rati wholeheartedly and gave her a warm welcome on the show. 

While Shaadi Mubarak was going great, due to the second lockdown, the makers had to pull the plugs and it went off-air abruptly.

This left the viewers heartbroken and the star cast was also quite upset with the show not getting a proper ending. 

Rati was paired opposite Manav Gohil on the show. 

And now, the viewers are waiting to see their favourite actors back on-screen soon. 

TellyChakkar got in touch with Rati who revealed her thoughts on Shaadi Mubarak going off-air, her next projects and much more. 

Rati spoke in length about her views on how TV shows don't have much content to explore. 

She also revealed how the TRP game has become quite important and it decides the future of any show. 

Rati said, ''TV shows these days are focussing on quantity over quality. The moment TRPs fall, the writers change the content. A lot of changes happen in the show and actors don't even get time to prepare for it.''

The actress reveals her thoughts on some shows and said, ''There are some shows whose content is so good and love to watch but their TRPs are very low. Such shows go off-air soon as the viewers are not interested in watching this kind of content.''

The Miley Jab Hum Tum actress feels that there isn't much to explore in TV as the content is quite restricted. 

The same old concept of kitchen and family drama content is offered which has now become monotonous.
