MUMBAI: In the present day, small-screen shows are more popular among the audience. Especially during the COVID-19 lockdown, people are enjoying TV shows as they are locked in their shows. TV has become one of the modes of entertainment for the whole family.

With the popularity of TV shows, many actors are now willing to be a part of the medium. Well, when we speak about serials, veteran actors are making their entry into the daily soaps and are making a mark.

Especially when we speak about Tollywood serials; veteran actresses like Sudha Chandran, Jayalalitha, Raashi and young actress Suhasini are presently ruling the TV world with their powerful characters.

Raasi

This veteran actress made her debut in Tollywood at the age of 6. Even in her teenage, she bagged lead roles. In the late 90s and in the 2000s also, she acted in numerous films. But after her wedding, she took a break and is now again back to the small screens with serials. Presently she is seen in the Janaki Kalaganaledu serial as the lead actor’s mother. Being a powerful role, Raasi is proving her mettle and once again stealing hearts with her ace acting skills.

Sudha Chandran
