MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is one of the most popular television shows.

The intriguing storyline of the series has kept the audiences hooked to their television screens.

The show will see a time leap soon and there is buzz that there will be many new actors joining the show. Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi apparently won't be a part of the show post the leap. A few days ago, there were reports that Digangana Suryavanshi would be joining the show.

However, Digangana Suryavanshi denied the news. The Bigg Boss 9 contestant told Times of India, “I am being offered many TV roles, but right now I have completely shifted my focus towards films. So any news around me entering a daily soap isn’t true at all. All my dates are completely blocked. I am shooting back to back for 4 different films and OTT projects. I am happy to explore the digital medium.”

The actress stared working when she was seven years old in the television show Kya Haadsa Kya Haqeeqat. She rose to fame with her performance in the show Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera. Then in 2018 the actress started with Bollywood with films like FryDay and Jalebi. When she was asked why she left television, she had said to the daily, "It is a conscious decision to not do television as I can't keep up with a daily show commitment. Daily soaps require an investment of every single day. I was 18 when I did Bigg Boss. Uske baad I wanted to explore and see how films turn out for me. I feel I have given a good part of my life to television that too at a very young age. Of course I still love TV and I wouldn't have been where I am today if not for television.”
