As we grow older and make a mark in our profession, the first wish that we want to accomplish is to fulfill our parents’ desire.

A similar occasion came into the life of popular actor of Tellywood Ather Habib who has bagged the opportunity to please his parents by donning a complete Punjabi look.

Yes, the handsome and charming Ather, who plays Shaurya in Star Plus’Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Director’s Kut) will be sporting a pagdi look in his upcoming Punjabi film Pendu Ni Dillan De Maade.

Talking on the same, the young actor avers, “Since we belong to Punjab, it is like a homecoming with this film directed by Nagendra Singh and Surinder Rihal. We are almost done with the shoot; the film is slated to release by the end of this year, hopefully.”

“My dad is a huge fan of Dharmendra and his Punjabi look in the Rajshri Films’ Jeevan Mrityu fascinated him a lot. And from the time I entered this field, he had been telling me to play a Punjabi character. And since there’s not much for such characters on TV, I finally got the chance to play one in this film. And now, my dad is really glad seeing me in this avatar. I am indeed happy for having realized his dream,” he adds.

A proud moment indeed for both father and son!!!
