MUMBAI: Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 5 hit the small screens a few weeks back and it is getting a terrific response from the viewers. The stellar star cast that includes Sharad Malhotra, Surbhi Chandna, and Mohit Sehgal are being appreciated by the viewers. 

We all know that Sharad is playing Veer's character in the show. However, the most amazing thing about his role is that he plays an antagonist. Sharad has always played positive roles. He is especially known for his romantic roles, so fans loved his new bad boy avatar. 

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Sharad opened up about various things related to Naagin 5. The actor is quite overwhelmed with the response he is getting from the fans for his totally negative avatar.

As Naagin is a hit series, does he think it is a huge responsibility of living up to the expectations of the viewers? To this, Sharad said that Naagin series has been extremely favourite and most-watched shows of the small screen and that “I wasn't worried about the show's response since I knew that Naagin is already a hit. It's tried and tested.” 

We all know how every season of Naagin series is linked, and somewhere there is a connection with each and every season. Sharad reveals that the fifth season is the answer to all the questions. 

The actor adds, "Naagin 5 is very important for everyone, from the viewers to the scriptwriters. The battle that started 10,000 years ago will culminate in today's time." 

Well, it's just a few weeks and the response is so great. We are sure Naagin 5 will break several records in the coming days.
