Naagin 5's first look breaks the internet; who is the lead?

MUMBAI: The premature ending of supernatural saga Naagin 4 left it's ardent fans a little disappointed. However, there is good news for them as the first look of the season 5 is out and it has taken the internet by storm. Creative head of the show, Mukta Dhond shared the first poster of the season 5 on her Instagram account and it is going viral on social media. Fans are debating over who should be cast in the upcoming season. There is a tough fight between Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and Hina Khan.

Ever since Ekta Kapoor announced the closure of the fourth season starring Nia Sharma, Vijayendra Kumeria, Rashami Desai in the lead roles, fans have been wanting the soap queen to cast Hina Khan for the next season. They have bombarded her inbox with requests to bring her onboard.

On May 28, the makers of Naagin 4 had clarified that budgetary constraints were not the reason behind Rashami Desai's exit from the show. The creative director of the show, Mukta Dhond had spoken about the same to TOI. She said that they are coming up with a new storyline for this supernatural thriller. She told TOI, "We are planning a complete change and therefore, there is no truth in the fact that the makers decided to do away with Rashami's character because her remuneration was not affordable."
