Narendra Jha to enter Channel [V]'s The Buddy Project

Narendra Jha, the talented actor who is presently seen in Star Plus’ Ek Ghar Banaunga (Village Boy Productions) will soon have an important cameo role to essay in Channel [V]’s The Buddy Project, produced by Sunshine Productions. His character is that of a Bollywood superstar, Chandan Roy, who has gained all the name and fame, but has very little time to devote to his kids. Chandan, the super star happens to be the father of Avi (Manish Nawani) and Avantika (Kanika Kotnala), the spoilt brats of the college. Chandan makes his entry when he feels that his teenage daughter is infatuated with a professor in her college. The well-read man understands the situation well, and goes to the college to find a solution to this problem. And to everyone’s surprise, the professor with whom Avantika is head-over-heels in love is none other than Anirudh Jaitley (Manav Gohil). How will Chandan Roy solve this crisis? When contacted, Narendra confirmed his cameo role in The Buddy Project saying, “Yes, it is an interesting role where I play a superstar who is concerned about the welfare of his kids, but has no time for them. When he realizes that his daughter has a teenage problem, he tries to sort it out. When he enters the college, everyone out there is pleasantly surprised to see the superstar in their college.” The actor’s entry is slated to be aired sometime next week.
