#SelfieWithDaughter is the ongoing trend these days, and the heart-warming parent-daughter selfies have gone viral on Twitter and various platforms, courtesy the social media campaign launched by the Hon. Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi in an effort to promote gender equality. 

Well, for actress Neelam Panchal who has done shows like Hamari Devrani, Ruk Jaana Nahin, Veera, the mother-daughter bonding is very much ‘special’, as in addition to her real daughter, Neelam has two daughters from the industry. 

All started during the Hamari Devrani days, when Neelam shared a great rapport with two girls Vidhi Sindhwad and Almaz Ali. Vidhi played the role of Aastha in Hamari Devrani, while little Almaz was seen in the post leap story in the role of Shikha. 

Neelam averred, “I am very fond of Vidhi and Almaz; I am like their mother in real life too. I can do anything and everything for them.”

Recollecting the days of shoot on sets of Hamari Devrani with them, Neelam said, “Almaz used to sleep in my room, and I used to get food for her daily. Both my daughters are really cute, and I always prayed to the Almighty that I get a daughter like them. And today, I am blessed with a daughter, as cute and beautiful as Vidhi and Almaz (smiles).”

Talking about her real daughter who is now two years old, the actress said, “Nihira Mihir Rajda, our daughter is the apple of our eye today. We are extremely happy on having her in my life. I can proudly say that I am mother to three beautiful daughters.”

Neelam who showers motherly affection on her ‘industry’ daughters, actually is so generous in nature that she gave a huge dowry for her daughter Vidhi during her wedding which happened recently. 

When asked about this, she said, “Yes, it is true that I gave Vidhi everything as part of dowry, similar to what her real mother gave her. She simply deserves the best.”
