Balaji Telefilms’ new offering Kumkum Bhagya will take the prime time slot of 9 PM on Zee TV from 15 April.
Ekta Kapoor has been keen on getting a good ensemble cast in place for the show. Tellychakkar.com has been giving our readers regular updates on the cast joining the show.
We now hear that Neha Kaul who has been part of shows like Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev will play the younger sister of Shabbir.
A source states, “Neha will essay a girl who would be classy and stylish. She will be the apple of her brother’s eyes, and Shabbir’s character will adore and love his sister a lot.”
Samiksha Bhatnagar known for her performance in Ek Veer Ki Ardaas… Veera will also join the Balaji family with Kumkum Bhagya.
If sources are to be believed, Samiksha will play one of the bahus of Shabbir’s family. Her character name will be Mitali. She will be one of the classic examples of a vampish bahu.
When contacted, Samiksha refused to talk about the show.
Neha Kaul told us, “Yes, I have been roped in to play the sister of Shabbir. But I have not started to shoot yet.”
