Hello readers!!! This is Neil Bhatt. Currently, I am seen as Laxman in Zee TV’s Ramayan based on Valmiki's Ramayan and Tulsidas' Ramcharitmanas. Born in Baroda, I was brought up in Mumbai. I live with my mom, dad and one younger sister here. I completed my schooling from JML School and did my college from HR College. Later, I completed my law from Jitendra Chauhan College of Law. From my childhood, I have been fond of dancing. During my college days, I used to participate in dance shows and would also organise and choreograph them. I have also won in dance reality shows like Boogie-Woogie and Ka Boom. Other than dancing, I like to write. In fact, I am writing scripts these days and to unwind myself I listen to music. If someone asks me if I wanted to become an actor, I would forthright answer in the positive since I always wanted to become one. If I would have not been an actor, I would have been a choreographer or a lawyer. My father, my grandfather and my great grandfather have all been lawyers. Naturally, my father also wanted me to become one. But I was passionate about acting and did my acting course from Kishore Namit Kapoor’s Institute. After my college, I took acting seriously and started giving auditions. After a couple of auditions, I got a chance to play a main lead as Arslaan in the serial named Arslaan. This role will always remain very close to me because it gave me a recognition as an actor. Later, I did Jo Ishq Ki Marzi Woh Rab Ki Marzi, 12/24 Karol Bagh, Gulaal and recently I played a negative cameo in Gumrah - End of Innocence. I think my journey till now has been very fruitful. I am glad the way I have blossomed as an actor getting a chance to show my versatility. My current role as Laxman in Ramayan is very close to my heart. I took up this role because I want to tell people that Laxman is as important a character as Ram and Sita. This is the only way by which I could pay a tribute to him. Lastly, I would like to thank all my fans for being so generous and would want them to keep loving me. In return, I promise to keep entertaining them for time to come.
