MUMBAI: Last week, Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet had brewed a storm across the internet after sharing a picture of the former flaunting her baby bump. The couple was soon flooded with congratulatory messages from across social media. 

However, it was soon revealed that the Neha's pregnancy was actually her look for her upcoming music video with Rohanpreet Singh. 

Well, this hasn't gone down well with a huge section of the internet and they are bashing the couple for playing with fans' emotions by faking a pregnancy. A lot of memes, too, were churned out.

We came across tweets like, "Seriously guys!! Do you really think it's ok to play with ur fan's emotions? It's proven that you guys can do anything for publicity. For first u did #shadi for that irritating song nd then this fake pregnancy for nxt one... #NehaKakkar #RohanpreetSingh"

"People (especially women) legit go through hell, in addition to insane amount of judgement, for not having kids and here we have sickos like Neha Kakkar who think it's alright to fake pregnancy pics to sell a song. Absolutely disgusting.".

Previously, Neha was criticised for faking her marriage with Indian Idol host and singer Aditya Narayan for the promotion of their song.

Amid all the bashing, the duo recently shared a short teaser of their song 'Khyaal Rakhya Kar', which sees a pregnant Neha romancing Rohanpreet.
