Our source informs us that newbies Rumman Ahmed and Avinash Mishra have been roped in to play the lead roles.
Sharing details about their roles, our source added, "Avinash will be playing a young boy belonging to the village ruled by Sethji (Gurdeep Kohli). He would fall in love with a city girl, played by Rumman Ahmed. Their love story will create ripples in the tale."
Both actors, although being popular faces in the ad world, will make their debut on TV with this new series.
When we contacted Avinash and Rumman, they refused to comment on the development.
