The talented Nia Sharma, who shot to fame with Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai in which she played Maanvi, has not been in news of late. Curious to know what the charming lady is up to, we rang her up only to be pleasantly surprised at discovering her new found leisure pursuit. Apparently, the pretty lady has immersed herself in learning the exotic art of belly dancing these days. Nia, who claims to be a good dancer, was planning to take up a form of dance she could excel in. Although a lover of all dance forms it’s belly dancing that always made her heart skip a beat. Talking about her new found hobby, the actress says, “Well, I wanted to take up something besides being interesting would help me relax. When I enrolled initially, I started to get severe body pain. But since my class includes a mix of dance workouts including belly dancing, my body is adapting to it. The sole reason to take up dancing apart from being a stress buster and to relax myself, is that I am a good dancer. But at the same time I wanted to excel myself in a particular form and belly dancing is something I found my interest in.” Nia, who seems to have taken a sabbatical from acting at the moment, looks to be in no hurry at getting back to her television career. That leaves her with ample time to chase things that would excite her personally. On quizzing what’s next on her to-do-list, the beautiful Nia quips,” I would love to pursue the Salsa dance form next.” We wish Nia all the best to excel in her new-found hobbies!!!
