It is a story that started with glamour strolled through melodrama and finally took refuge in comedy. If it sounds like a soap opera, well it is closely related because we are talking about an actor who lives with such a fate. Nigaar Khan shot to fame as the glamour girl, (the cover girl of many publications), did a brush with gyrations before doing soaps like Lipstick and India Calling. Now, the actor has ventured into a new territory altogether which has taken many of her fans by surprise. Imagine an item girl doing a sitcom. We know that she has joined the SAB comedy show Yes Boss, but the big question is how comfortable is she doing such a show. We popped this question to the director of the show Rajan Waghdhare and he quips, "We initially had reservations about her being able to cope up with the demands of a comedy show, but to our surprise she has given such clean performances that we have nothing but to praise her for her effortless comic acts." Nigaar who plays the glamorous Angelina in the show adds, "I decided to take the offer of Yes Boss since it gives me a chance to test my acting prowness in the comic genre and the best part being that you get to rub shoulders with veterans like Rakesh Bedi, who has so much to offer you to appreciate the finer nuances of comedy." Nigaar might be enjoying her comic stint but her fans would love to see her oozing more oomph than comicality. Is she listening?
