Actress Tanushree Dutta has been revisiting the eerie and mysterious world of supernatural, as the host of the thriller show on Zee TV, Best of Fear Files. However, her days are numbered as the anchor of the show, is what we have got to hear. Well, the Bollywood sex bomb has now been replaced by Nikitin Dheer, as per reliable sources. And the reason for replacement is that Tanushree has apparently failed to carry the show on her shoulders as the host on duty. The ratings have been on a downslide of late, and the channel and production house (Esselvision Productions) wanted a more powerful persona to be the narrator. A reliable source states, “After much of contemplation, Tanushree has been replaced. And it will be the young lad Nikitin Dheer getting into the role of the host. Tanushree has already shot for 12 episodes, of which 8 have been on air. Post the airing of the remaining 4 episodes shot by Tanushree, Nikitin will take over. Best of Fear Files in totality will be a 26 episodes series and Nikitin will be the host of the show from the 13th episode onwards.” We tried calling Tanushree, but could not reach her. When contacted, Nikitin told us, “Talks are on, and nothing is certain at the moment.” We also get to hear that Nikitin would shoot for a promo soon, which will launch him as the new host on board Best of Fear Files. We tried reaching out to the channel spokesperson, but did not get any revert. Nikitin has managed to grab quite a lot of eyeballs through his stint in Khatron Ke Khiladi and the main villain in Chennai Express. We truly hope he will reach out to the masses as host of the supernatural series now.
