MUMBAI: TellyChakkar broke the news about TV actor Avinesh Rekhi being roped in for Colors’ upcoming show Choti Sardaarni, which will be produced by Rajesh Ram Singh under his banner Cockcrow Productions along with Shaika Films’ Pradeep Kumar

We also mentioned about veteran actress Anita Raj being roped in for a pivotal character in the show.

The show will have a Punjabi backdrop. Now, we have learned that model Nimrit Ahluwalia is making her debut on TV with this show as the female protagonist.

The show is expected to go on floors sometime next week.

We could not get through to Nimrit for a comment.

Colors is also geared up to launch others shows like Kavach 2, Bepanah Pyar, and Bahu Begam.
