MUMBAI: SAB TV’s popular show Tenali Rama (Contiloe Pictures) has hit the first road block, as the female lead Priyamvada Kant has decides to quit the soap.

The show is taking a small leap hence, Priyamvada's character is expected to play mother in the story. As she was not convinced with the idea, she decided to move out of the project.

TellyChakkar got to know about the three TV actresses, who have been approached to play the role of Sharda, Tenali’s wife.

The name of the ladies include Bairi Piya fame Supriya Kumari, Dil Deke Dekho actress Anju Jadhav and Niya Sharma, who was last seen in Vani Rani.

We have heard that the chances of Niya are higher to replace Priyamvada.

We could not get through any of the actresses for their comments.
