The stars are simply not shining for Kumar Sanu. With his Bollywood career all but over, the singer was looking to reinvent himself through the small screen. Kumar Sanu was to take part in Sahara One's musical reality show Jhoom, however the singer has now turned down the request. Producer Vipul Shah explains, "He had mutually agreed to do the show but he never signed on the dotted line. It was just a verbal agreement. However, Kumarji didn't have the requisite days as he'll be busy with his stage shows in US. Plus, he's signed for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little champs. So, he agreed not to do our show." Singing on Jhoom could have given the necessary fillip to Kumar's fluttering career. However, Kumar Sanu chose dollars over rupees. Despite several attempts, the once-upon-a-time Bollywood singer could not be tracked.
