MUMBAI : Naagin 5 has begun and how!

The speculations about the actors and story line have been doing the rounds way before the season started. The season 5 had a grand start with Hina Khan, Mohit Malhotra and Dheeraj Dhoopar starting off the show with great spirit while Surbhi Chandana, Ssharad Malhotra and Mohit Sehgal.

Ssharad will be seen portraying a negative character of Veer in the show. Speaking about the same exclusively with TellyChakkar, he said, “I never thought I’m fit for such a character. I always thought producers would approach me for positive characters. I believe everyone sees me as a good-boy who can portray positive characters, but Ekta ma'am is different. She believes I can do justice to Veer’s character. She is quite gutsy and this is a very brave decision to rope me for a negative role”.

Talking about the feedback on his role, Ssharad said, “My fans and well-wishers were shocked to see me in Veer’s avatar. The fact that I’ve chosen to do something like this is obviously quite challenging for me. Veer’s character requires a lot of swag and style. He is monied and has a lot of attitude and to convincingly portray the same is difficult and I would like to congratulate every person who’ve pulled out a negative shade character because it is certainly not easy. Having said that, I’m having a great time shooting as Veer. With the entire out-fit and my contact lenses, it becomes fun to perform”.
