MUMBAI: Sasural Simar Ka Season 2 is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, and the story has kept the audiences hooked to it. 

The show is produced by Rashmi Sharma and Pawan Kumar Marut under the banner of Rashmi Sharma Telefilms. It airs of Colors and stars Radhika Muthukumar, Avinash Mukherjee, Tanya Sharma, and Karan Sharma. 

The audiences love to watch the love story of Simar, Arav, Reema, and Vivann. 

The character of Simar is timid and very reserved. She who is very close to her family and can do anything for them. 

But did you know that before the makers finalized Radhika Muthukumar, it was offered to a few actresses who refused? 

Here is the list of actresses who refused the role of Simar. 

1. Pooja Singh

Pooja is best known for her roles in serials like Diya Aur Baati Hum and Dil Se Dil Tak. Currently she is seen in the Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki. The actress was offered the role of Simar but she didn’t like the role much and thus rejected the project. 

2. Charu Asopa

Charu is known for her performance in Baalveer and Mere Angne Mein. The actress too was offered the role of Simar, but since she demanded a high fee, things didn’t work out. 

3. Rashmi Pitre

Rashmi a popular television actress, who has also acted in a few films. An established professional painter, she was offered the role of Simar and wanted to be part of the show. She had auditioned too for it, but in the screen test, the makers thought she didn’t fit the bill. 

4. Bhavini Purohit

Bhavini is best known for her performance in Jaana Na Dil Se Door and Saath Nibhana Saathiya. She refused the role of Simar owing to personal commitments. 

5. Donal Bisht

Donal is best known for her roles in Ek Deewaana Tha and Roop - Mard Ka Naya Swaroop. She was offered the role of Simar but refused it for reasons best known to her.

Well, in the end, the role was bagged by Radhika Muthukumar, and fans feel she is the perfect choice for the role and no one could do justice to Simar the way she does.
