MUMBAI: Akanksha Puri rose to fame with her character Parvati in the show Vighnaharta Ganesha.
She recently entered Season 15 of Bigg Boss for a few days. Though speculations about her entry have always been rife ever since the actress first appeared on the reality show in season 13, when she was dating actor Paras Chhabra.

An excited Akanksha told a leading portal, “I finally went inside the Bigg Boss though for just a few days.” For the uninitiated, Akanksha's ex now, actor Paras Chhabra in Season 13, broke-up with her during that season. During the interview, the actress was asked if she repents being a part of the show at that time. To this, she said, “Interestingly, my name has been trending for Bigg Boss after appearing on the show once in Season 13. I am glad that people had been wanting to see me more in the show. I had so much support from people. I don't regret appearing in Bigg Boss 13. It was in fact much needed at that time. I own all my decisions. I am very happy that I entered.”
There were also reports about her being in a relationship with singer Mika Singh. Reacting to the same, she said, “Mika ke saath toh meri engagement aur shaadi bhi kara di hai logon ne (laughs). I know him for more than a decade now. Mika and I know way too much about each other to date. Kabhi kabhi kisi ko bahot zyada jaan'na bhi achha nahi hota. Mika is not someone whom I will get married to though we can play cupid for each other. Also, I don’t think Mika will get married now. I am not stuck up that I will not date anyone, I will if I get a good person.”
