MUMBAI: The craze for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is never going to end. The show has been running since 2008 and is still the favourite of many. Jethalal, Daya, Taarak Mehta, Anjali, Sodhi, Bhide, Tapu and all the other characters of the show have a special place in our hearts.
However, Jethalal and Daya are the most loved couple from the show. Dilip Joshi and Disha Vakani have created magic on-screen and made these characters iconic. It is impossible to see any other actor replacing them or the character in the show.

Disha Vakani took a maternity break in September 2017 and since then she hasn't returned to the show. Many of her co-stars have said in interviews that they are missing her and want her back on the show. But recently, Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal was seen talking about his co-star Disha.
Dilip Joshi said, "I am missing Disha Vakani a lot today. I have worked with her for almost 9 and a half years and it is not a short period. I feel she is still with us, it’s just that her priorities have changed now. She is a mother now and her priorities have obviously changed and today on this occasion we all are missing her."
