Balaji Telefilms’ finite fiction show planned for Sony TV has been in the headlines for some time now.

Well, the countdown begins for all the fans of Iqbal Khan and Mona Singh, as they come in as the lead couple in the show. Yesterday, we reported about actors Mansi Sharma and Melanie Pais bagging pivotal roles.

We now come up with more names…

Balaji loyalist Parag Tyagi who is even today known as Archana’s brother in Pavitra Rishta has bagged a very different role in the show. He will play Pushtiie Shakti’s husband, and their pairing will come as a fresh breath of air for the audience.

As per a reliable source, “Parag will play a detective and will be the son-in-law of Iqbal Khan’s family. While Pushtiie’s character will have a comic element in it, Parag will be a total contrast.”

Also, coming in to the show as Iqbal Khan’s father will be noted film actor, Micky Makhija. Micky is known for his roles in Don, My Name is Khan, Krrish 3 etc. Actress Jyoti Tomar will be seen playing Iqbal’s mom.

When contacted, Parag told Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, I am part of the Balaji show for Sony TV. However it is too early to talk about it.”

We tried calling Micky but did not get through to him.
