Parag Tyagi of Pavitra Rishta fame and his girlfriend ‘Kaanta Laga’ girl Shefali Zariwala jumped to fame with their recent dancing stints in both Nach Baliye 5 and Shriman V/s Shrimati on Star Plus. Shefali might have won the hearts of many a men owing to her oomph factor, but for Parag, she is undoubtedly a very ‘homely’ girl. Talking about his girlfriend’s image, Parag clarified, “There is a particular view about her in public, but that is completely wrong. She is a very homely girl, totally devoted to her family. It is often said that your values are seen in the way you treat your elders at home, and Shefali will get full marks there (smiles). She sees to it that she takes care of my parents more than me. Recently, my dad who is in Delhi suffered a heart attack and we had to get him to Mumbai for treatment. Shefali took care of him very well, and even now she keeps enquiring my mother whether all is fine with my dad.” He further went on to say, “Even on the sets of Nach Baliye, she had no airs about herself. Before the start of Nach Baliye, I always felt shy to show off my good physique. However, our choreographer pushed me to do so as our acts required me to flaunt my body. Shefali motivated me and I agreed to take up the challenge of going bare-chested in Nach Baliye. I was pleasantly surprised that quite a lot of my family members liked my look.” Parag who will next play the negative lead in Sony TV’s upcoming historical Maharana Pratap said, “We hope to tie the knot very soon. We actually wanted to get hooked last year, but we have to postpone the wedding as my dad took ill.” We wish both Parag and Shefali a very happy future.
