MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 13 has long ended but the controversies related to it don't seem to end.

Yet again, ex-flames Akanksha Puri and Paras Chhabra have locked horns...this time because of the shoes that the actor wore in Bigg Boss 13.

It was time and again brought up in the show that Paras’ then girlfriend Akanksha Puri managed his stylists and the clothes and accessories that he was seen wearing in the show. Well, during a task, Paras had to sacrifice his favourite yellow shoes, and hence, girlfriend Akanksha sent him a pair of red shoes as a gift.

Recently, a few screenshots of chats with the shoe-brand representative have been doing the rounds on the internet and claim that the red shoes that Akanksha gifted him were a part of a collaboration and not purchased. When asked about the same, Paras in his statement to a portal said, “There were times I was maligned and kept saying it’s untrue. Finally, the truth has come out.” 

The actress clarified the same with a media portal and stated that the red shoes were very much purchased and sent as a gift to Paras by her. Explaining the matter in brief to TellyChakkar, Akanksha said, “The chats have been manipulated very well. There are chats with several brands and the collaboration was for another pair of shoes and not the red one. I bought the red shoes for around 4500 for him, which is not too expensive.”

She further stated, "The chats wherein I am talking about collaboration is for another pair of white shoes which were not used by him in the show and hence I had to refund an amount of 2100/- to the brand representative."

Speaking about still finding herself in the middle of the controversies related to Bigg Boss 13 and Paras Chhabra, she said, “When I read about this and saw the chats being leaked, I was like please come out of this now, it’s high time. I hate talking about this topic now as it’s really old and I’m over it long back. But guess he and his PR can’t think of anything but me to get his interviews trending.They know with my name, they will get more views and more traffic to the article”.
