MUMBAI: Paras Chhabra is a popular television actor. His popularity escalated after his stint in Bigg Boss 13. 

He was also seen in the show Mujhse Shaadi Karoge with Shehnaaz Gill to find an ideal match for himself. The actor has been in the headlines right from his day in the BB13 house, be it his friendship with Mahira or break up with Akanksha. 

Paras and controversy go hand in hand. The model turned actor is quite straightforward and he often gets misunderstood.  He has been a part of many controversies.  

The controversary with Sunny Leone also got highlighted where it all started when Paras participated in MTV Splitsvilla season 5 which he went ahead and won.  

There were reports floating then that Sunny was upset and irked as she felt that Paras misbehaved with her.

It so happened that in a section of the show, Sunny was asked to interact with each contestant and that’s when Paras tried being over-friendly and reportedly touched her inappropriately.

Finally, Paras has come forward and given a befitting reply to this controversy where he said that this was a part of the promotional campaign for the show in 2015 and he doesn’t see a reason why it has to be used in 2020 as it is a piece of 5-year-old stale news. It was a PR strategy by the Splitsvilla team to promote the episode hence it had been framed in that manner.

He further stated that he respects women and he would never in his personal capacity do such a thing. He also said that he wasn’t aware of the way the industry functions back then and if he would have known he would have never allowed such a PR strategy to be adopted by the makers.

Well, seems like all this in in the past and now by Paras clearing his stance all is well now.

Today Paras is the most successful personality on television and has a massive fan following, where his loyal fans shower a lot of unconditional love and support on the actor.
