MUMBAI: Paras Kalnawat is all over the news for his performance in Star Plus's show Anupamaa. The actor is playing the role of Samar Shah on the show. 

The handsome star has become a household name for his character and has been on cloud nine for his achievements. 

Paras is enjoying the success every bit and is thankful to the audiences for showering all the love and support.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Paras was asked how he is handling so much fame, love and support.

The actor said, "I am very blessed to be working in this show. I am thankful to Rajan sir for giving me this opportunity. I am very happy that Samar's character is being loved."

On revealing why the recognition of playing Samar is important, Paras said, "I like it when people call me Samar when I am stepping outside. People don't call me Paras but Samar. Since I am always wearing a mask, people ask me, "Are you Samar?" and I feel like taking off the mask and interacting with them."

Lastly, the actor said, "I have been working past three years in the industry and this is the time I got proper recognition for my work that I wanted. Anupamaa has given me everything I ever wanted."

Well, Paras is definitely riding high on success with Anupamaa.
