MUMBAI: Naagin 3 actor Pearl V Puri is extremely excited for his upcoming romantic thriller Bepanah Pyaar, which is also season 2 of Ekta Kapoor's successful show Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki. Along with Pearl, the show stars Ishita Dutta and Aparna Dixit as the main leads. A few days ago, Ekta Kapoor released the promo of the show and captioned it as, 'Bepanah Pyaarr! Only on colors'.

When the title of the show was known, Jennifer Winget and Harshad Chopda’s fans started trolling the makers for lifting the title from the duo’s popular show, Bepannah. Through comments, they accused Ekta Kapoor for stealing the title and said it belongs to Jennifer and Harshad.

Pearl, while talking to an entertainment portal, said that 'In that case, the title of our show’s first season, Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki, was also stolen, as those are the lines of a Bollywood song. If you talk about Jennifer and Harshad's Bepannah, then that was also stolen from a romantic number, Bepanah Pyaar Hai Aaja. It’s not about stealing titles. We form titles using words from our literature. So it’s not about taking someone else’s show’s name. Like my name is Pearl, and if somebody likes my name and wants to keep the same name for their children, they have all the right to do so. I can't go and stop them. It’s just a good name! So, our creators thought of picking it up for our show, and I don't find anything wrong in it.'
