It is not every day that young actors get so much love from their fans!

Thus it was a super happy moment for tellytown’s latest heartthrob Pearl V Puri who is currently enjoying the love and adulation for his role of Abeer in Star Plus’ Badtameez Dil (Saurabh Tewari Films).

Recently the actor was in for a surprise when he found that a fan had named her newborn baby Abeer as a mark for her love towards the character.

Shared a source, “The team was shooting for an outdoor sequence at a building, when the mother came forward and introduced Pearl with Junior Abeer. Though taken aback by this sudden introduction, Pearl was definitely elated.”

Post his shoot with the team, the actor decided to meet his onscreen namesake and spend some time with him. Pearl also posted a picture on the same, claiming his happiness meeting the one and a half month old baby.

When we buzzed the charming actor he shared with excitement, “It was one super exciting moment for me. I went crazy with joy to be honest. People are loving our show so much that they name their kids after us, is like a great feeling. Who wouldn’t be happy to receive so much love?”

We wondered if he ever feels that his onscreen character has taken up his real personality. “Firstly this is how TV works where characters become more important than actors. And at the end of the day, families watch our show and get to know our on screen characters rather than ourselves, so definitely there is no reason to complain. Also the world knows that Pearl is.

Abeer and vice versa, so the love received for Abeer is also mine,” smiled the good looking boy.
