Indians have another reason to celebrate as Bollywood’s finest find, Priyanka Chopra, goes global with American spy series Quantico. But that’s not all! Because PeeCee’s show has had the biggest opening on ABC with over 7.1 million viewers watching Quantico’s pilot titled Run.

According to US rating agencies, the TRP of Quantico is nearly 50 percent more than ABC’s last year’s hopeful, Revenge, which also premiered on the 10 PM slot. What’s even better news is that the show has got largely positive reviews from Hollywood critics with Priyanka Chopra being referred to as an ‘arresting lead’.

Chopra plays a young FBI recruit, Alex Parrish, who’s embroiled in the biggest disasters to shake America, the crisis of 9/11. It looks like she is being framed by one of her colleagues, but Alex herself has explosive secrets that can change the course of her training.

Quantico airs every Sunday at 10 PM on ABC. It’s scheduled to be aired on Star World from Oct 3 at 9 PM. It stars Jake McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis, Josh Hopkins, Yasmine Al Massri, Johanna Braddy, Tate Ellington, and Graham Rogers, among others.
