Actor Pooran Kiri will get into action in prominent roles in two of Star Plus’ shows. Well, he will be making a thundering comeback in Director’s Kut Productions’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Also, he will be brought in to play a detective in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir (Sphere Origins). Yes, as Suresh Agarwal, the ex-husband of Devyani (Kshitee Jog) in Yeh Rishta, he will barge into the Singhania house to explode with anger at Devyani. The man will be angry at the fact that nobody informed him about his son Naman’s (Anshul Pandey) engagement with Karishma (Priyanka). He will yell at Devyani, and will threaten her of dire consequences if he would not be invited for the wedding. He would claim to have every right as the father to be aware of all the developments in his son’s life. The Singhania household will be left in shock on seeing Suresh’s aggressive behaviour. While this will be his track to come in Yeh Rishta, Pooran will play a detective by name Ritesh Bharadwaj in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir. As per the track, Shlok (Avinash Sachdev) will go out of the house, and this will be when Niranjan (Manish Wadhwa) will hire this detective to get Shlok back home. This will be a cameo role, as per sources. When contacted, Pooran confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I have started shooting for Yeh Rishta wherein I play Devyani’s ex-husband. Also, I will be entering Iss Pyaar in the role of a detective.” Get ready for this double whammy from the actor!!
