Sony TV’s next big-budget historical, Bajirao Mastani is certainly on the roll!! The ambitious project, helmed by Sunjoy Wadhwa’s Sphere Origins and Nilanjana Purkyasstha’s Invictus T Mediaworks is presently in its casting stage, and the buzz is that the show will see lot many known faces from both the small screen and the big screen.

After reporting about Isha Kopikkar being part of the show, we at Tellychakkar.com have heard about yet another elegant and talented actress being roped in.

Prachi Shah, the actor cum dancer who has featured in shows Kundali, Piya Ka Ghar, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kesar, Kayamath has come on board for a pivotal role.

Last seen in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon... Ek Baar Phir, Prachi will play the role of Bajirao’s mother, Radhabai, is what we hear.

As per sources, “Prachi will play mother to Bajirao, and wife of Balaji Vishwanath.”

We tried contacting Prachi for a comment, but could not get through to her.

We buzzed the channel spokesperson, and Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa for a comment, but did not get reverts till the time of filing the story.
