The action packed upcoming show Encounter (Endemol) is all set to roll from 11 April on Sony Entertainment Television. And after Tellychakkar.com reported about the first episode based on urban gangster Manya Surve, here comes more news on another encounter case to be presented in the show.

The second case will be based on D-company ace shooter Feroz Konkani, who is known for killing BJP leader Ramdas Nayak. The shooter was hunt down by Mumbai police in 2008 after some close gang member revealed his whereabouts to the police.

And playing this villain will be the talented Prashant Narayanan, who will be seen back on TV after his last stint in Phulwa. The award winning actor will play the vicious shooter and the ones gunning him down will be played by actors Mazher Sayed and Mishal Raheja.

Mishal, who seemed to have gone in hibernation post his show Laagi Tujshe Lagan, is making a comeback to small screen. And along with him, Mazher, who last played a funny character in Mrs Pammi Pyarelal, will play the encounter specialist officers.

We called up Prashant who sounded excited and shared, “I really enjoy playing these gangster roles and I was actually looking forward to be a part of some TV show. I am yet to shoot, but I am sure it’s going to be a great experience. Since I don’t get time from films it’s always a great means to get back on TV through such interesting episodes. ”

Mazher on his part added, “This is the first time I am playing a role of a police officer and thus it’s quite exciting. It is going to be a full on action packed episode which the viewers will enjoy a lot. My character of inspector Manish Kadam is a powerful one.”

Mishal was busy shooting and thus was not available to comment.

Also actor Rohit Khurana, who was last seen in Khoobsurat, will also be a part of the first episode playing a Muslim character of Shaikh Ali, who will join hands with Manya Surve.

Sharing his experience, Rohit says, “I am really excited for the episode. It has been shot beautifully like a film with a Bollywood director, Guru, on board. The look and feel also has been designed amazingly. It was superb fun and a very different experience from what is happening on TV these days.”

With such talented actors, we are sure this show is going to be a must watch.
