MUMBAI: Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga is SAB TV’s newly launched fantasy show starring Siddharth Nigam and Avneet Kaur as the leads.

Siddharth rose to fame playing the young Aamir Khan in Dhoom 3 and has starred in Mahakumbh, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, and Chandra Nandni. Avneet stepped into the limelight after participating in DID Li’l Masters. She has also worked in shows such as Meri Maa, Savitri, and Hamari Sister Didi.

The story of Aladdin is a folk tale of Middle Eastern origin. Aladdin and the Magic Lamp has been one of the most well known and retold fairy stories of all time.

Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga is produced by Nissar Parvez and Alind Shrivastava of Peninsula Pictures, and its first episode aired yesterday. Will it manage to work its magic on TV?
