Prime Flix Brothel to undergo a name change; Ashu Dhaliwal confirms

MUMBAI: TellyChakkar earlier reported that Prime Flix is coming up with yet another interesting web-series titled Brothel.

Now, the latest update is that the makers of the web series have decided to change the title to Mandi.

When we contacted Ashu Dhaliwal, who is producing the series with Mohini Shabade and Akshy Mishra under their banner Mighty Grace Media, he confirmed the buzz and shared, 'Shyam Benegal's cult movie Mandi and our series are based on a similar subject, as both narrates the story of a brothel. But our web-series has a twist. We thought and brainstormed with channel also and decided to change the name. We feel #Mandi is a bit more massy as well as classy.'

#Mandi will showcase the journey of a girl who is in search of her sexuality and wants to explore her sexual boundaries.

For the uninitiated, Akshy and Ashu had co-produced Ullu App's Charamsukh. Also, Mohini has co-produced Chak De fame Sagrika Gathge's upcoming Marathi film titled Monsoon Football.
