MUMBAI: Priyal Mahajan is currently ruling several hearts with her performance in Colors' show Molkki.

The actress plays the lead role of Purvi on the show and is paired opposite Amar Upadhyay.

Priyal is quite younger than her co-star Amar both in reel and real life which is one of the biggest challenges for her to develop beautiful chemistry with Amar.

We all know that Molkki is a show based on social drama and it is a concept still practised in many parts of our country.

The viewers have witnessed a lot of heartbreaking scenes on the show. From being forcefully married to a man twice her age to facing several hardships to adjust to the new life, Priyal's character Purvi has seen a lot.

The actress portrayed all these intense scenes with so much perfection which managed to connect to the viewers.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Priyal was asked if she ever had an emotional breakdown moment on the sets of Molkki after performing any scenes.

Priyal said, ''It's not just once but I had an emotional breakdown many times after performing certain scenes. I won't say I was depressed but there are few scenes that are quite beautifully written and they come out so well that it overwhelms you.''

Further, the actress narrated an incident when she was left in tears after performing a scene, she said, ''There was one scene where Purvi decks up just like Sakshi by wearing her jewellery and everything. Her intention was to make Virender feel good but it backfired her and Virender humiliated her. He accused her of taking Sakshi's place and stealing her belongings. Well, this scene had lots of moment where Virender asked Purvi to take off all the jewellery she wore.''

Priyal continued, ''Purvi tried to explain but Virender was in no mood to understand her. It was very disrespectful for her for being treated like this. I took off every piece of jewellery I wore and I was in tears. Then I went away from there. I cried like a baby after that scene.''
