The talented Puru Chibber, who was last seen in Beintehaa and Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, will don the avatar of an army man in one of the upcoming episodes of Adaalat (Contiloe Pictures) on Sony Entertainment Television.

Puru will be seen in the special Republic Day episode that will focus on the Armymen of our country. The actor will be seen essaying the role of Tara Singh who will be accused of murdering his cousin and fellow colleague. KD Pathak (Ronit Roy) will take his case and promise to bring the truth out.

The actor who started shooting yesterday said, “It is a really proud moment to wear the uniform and essay the role of an Army officer. It gives goose bumps to me when I think of the struggles and hardships they have to face everyday so that we can sleep in peace. They are truly our unsung heroes and its time we salute their efforts and start respecting them more.”

Puru added, “Shooting with the Adaalat team was a wonderful experience and I must say I am having a great time. Ronit Roy is a wonderful actor and it was a great experience shooting with him. This episode will be a wonderful story and viewers should definitely enjoy it.”

The episode will air next week.
