MUMBAI: COVID-19 pandemic has created a crisis situation and doctors and other professionals are working relentlessly to ensure the safety of citizens. Earlier, our honourable PM Narendra Modi urged everyone to appreciate their work and we saw how the entire country united and clapped for them. The nation once again united to thank them by lighting candles and diyas.
PM Modi announced the same on 3 April and urged people to switch off their lights on 5 April at 9 pm and lit a candle or diya or switch on the mobile flash light in order to show their support for doctors and other professionals. Citizens had to do the same by remaining indoors. Sports stars like Yuvraj Singh, Saina Nehwal, Geeta Phogat, Zaheer Khan, PV Sindhu, Hardik Pandya supported this activity of our PM Narendra Modi:
