MUMBAI: Here’s a piece of shocking news for the viewers of Star Plus' Shaadi Mubarak! According to a leading entertainment portal, Rajshree Thakur is no more a part of the show.  

Rajshree played the female protagonist opposite Manav Gohil in Shaadi Mubarak which went on-air in August this year. Now Rajshree has quit the show within a month's time. Yes, you read that right.

According to a report in SpotboyE, the makers have brought on board Rati Pandey to replace Rajshree. A source told the portal, "Rajshree, who was playing Preeti Jindal, shot her last day on Saturday and now Rati will take over." So, what made Rajshree quit the show? The source further informed the portal that Rajshree and producer of the show Sashi Mittal had some differences of late. “After which Rajshree decided to leave and Rati was roped in overnight as her replacement,” the source added. 

However, when the portal reached out to Rajshree Thakur, she gave a different reason. She said due to her health she decided to quit the show and that it was an amicable decision between the production house and her. Rajshree said, "There is no difference between us. In fact, she tried to resolve the things for me but to an extent sorting things were not possible for them also, as I am the main lead of the show. That's why we had to take this unfortunate decision."
