Star Plus' Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Productions) is pulling up its socks when it comes to the drama quotient. Viewers have been getting some edge-of-the-seat drama, and all of this started with the nail-biting 'Lakshagrah' sequence wherein Sandhya (Deepika Singh) ended up shooting her own sister-in-law Aarzoo (Prachi Tehlan), thinking that she is a terrorist. Aww, but now realization seems to have struck Sandhya very badly, as the drone camera evidence has proven Aarzoo to be the saviour of all, rather than being the criminal. Buried with guilt, Sandhya is praying for Aarzoo’s safe recovery. But as of now, Aarzoo seems to be fighting for her life in the ICU. Amidst all this, there will be more tension in the Rathi family when everyone will get to know of Aaryan's (Kunal Khosla) real motive behind marrying Aarzoo. As per reliable sources, “Sooraj (Anas Rashid) will be the first one who will get to know of Aaryan being in love with Piya (Nalini Negi), and that he would have married Aarzoo only for money. A crestfallen Sooraj will go numb on facing the reality.” This will lead to a huge emotional outburst in the family wherein Aaryan will realize that the whole family is aware of his wrong doing. However, his heart will break when nobody will question him about anything, but will remain silent on the issue. Our source further adds, “A teary-eyed Aaryan will plead Sooraj to see him, and beat him for his mistakes. However, Sooraj will not even face Aaryan eye to eye. Aaryan will go on to yell, plead and take Sooraj’s hand and beat himself with it, asking Sooraj to hit him hard. Aaryan will not know a way to explain himself to his family, and will not be able to face them.” On the other hand, Aaryan will feel all the more guilty to see Aarzoo fighting for her life in the hospital. He will refuse to believe that Aarzoo is a terrorist. Viewers will see yet another heart-breaker of a scene, wherein Aaryan will record his voice on the recorder and play it to an unconscious Aarzoo. He would have conveyed in his lines that he is not aware whether Aarzoo is guilty of all the bad activities, but he is surely guilty of destroying Aarzoo’s heart by marrying her for money. Will Aarzoo recover on time to help out the Rathi family? How will the Aaryan – Aarzoo love story take shape from here? We tried calling the actors concerned, but did not get through to them.
