Ravi Mahashabde to play a pivotal cameo role in &TV's Meri Awaaz...

Ravi Mahashabde

Ravi Mahashabde, the National School of Drama famed actor is the next noted name to bag a challenging role in Nivedita Basu’s upcoming show on &TV, Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai. He is also known for his performance in the movie Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster.

Ravi who has a lot of episodics in CID and Crime Patrol to his name has always felt the need to keep away from the regular formatted shows on TV.  However, the role in this big-ticket show was so endearing to him, that he could not refuse the offer.

As per a reliable source, “Ravi will play a lechorous guy who would have an evil eye over Kalyani’s mother, played by Pallavi Joshi. The guy will go to the extent of trying to molest her.”

Though Ravi will have a cameo role to play, his character will be of great importance to the story line.

When contacted, Ravi confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I have a strong cameo role to play in the show. However, I am not allowed to disclose details.”
