MUMBAI: Both the television industry and Bollywood are facing an immense force of uncontrollable talent-boom within their premises. As these industries have witnessed a shift in generation with these last 2-3 decades, many talented yet unheard artistes are making their way to stardom these days by displaying their fine acting chops on-screen. They even get to share the screen-space with many budding star-kids who have also recently joined the world of professional showbiz.

Out of them, many artistes grabbed their debut roles as child artistes around 10 years ago and considering the plot's demand these days, the industry demands for the participation of more and more child artistes. Some of them make their way to the limelight initially through acting auditions, while many others' initiation begins only after featuring as contestants in the leading talent shows of the entertainment industry, who have presentable faces and can promptly catch-up with instant sharp acting skills.

Today, we'll take note of the rise of one such talented powerhouse who started-off his showbiz career as a child-artiste almost around 10 years ago. This talented and super-energetic champ is none other than actor Siddharth Nigam.

Starting off from his initiation days, Nigam is a complete outsider who made his mark in the industry without the involvement of any influential personnel or supreme contacts.

The talented hunk, who is now 21 years old, hails from Prayagraj (then Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh, who shifted to Mumbai amid his early school days. From those days itself, he primarily aced in gymnastics over any other talent display and himself is a professional national-level gymnast post-winning a gold medal.

After that, Nigam featured in a Bournvita ad as an inspirational figure for many aspiring gymnasts of and around his age. This ad offer turned into a blessing-in-disguise for him as the makers of Dhoom 3 approached him for playing the roles of Aamir Khan's young characters (Samara and Sameer), which had to be presented through a double-role. They were impressed by Siddharth's performance in the ad and selected him as the right-choice for performing the personalized stunts in the movie. That's how Siddharth marked his grand entry into the world of showbiz, that too by debuting on the silver-screen. That's a commendable achievement for a guy of his age back then. The film released in 2013 and the audience loved Siddharth's acting skills on-screen.

Right after that in 2014, there was no stopping him in the path of stardom as he kept on bagging poignant roles for shows that aired on the small-screen. His first small-screen debut was marked in the role of a young Rudra with Life Ok's mythological show Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya, Ek Kahani.

Exactly a year later (February 2015), the audience got to witness Nigam playing the lead role of a young emperor Ashoka in the historical drama series Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat. For his performance therein, he received immense fame and critical accolades, that led to him winning the Zee Gold Award for 'Best Actor Debut - Male', the Television Style Awards for the 'Most Stylish Debut - Male', the Lions Gold Award, the Indian Telly Awards for 'Best Child Actor - Male' and the Indian Television Academy Award 2015 as the 'Desh Ka Ladla'. In 2016, he even won the Golden Petal Awards for being the 'Favourite Child Actor'. This was his career's break-through role indeed.

Owing to his great flexes and his ability to shake his leg to any number, he participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 as a contestant alongside many renowned telly and Bolly fames and ace dancers like Karishma Tanna, Salman Yusuff Khan, Shantanu Maheshwari, Nora Fatehi, Surveen Chawla, Arjun Bijlani, Helly Shah amongst others in 2016. Though he did not win the show, his experience therein helped him grab crucial exposure to stardom life and opened up his opportunities to make it even bigger in the industry.

Later that year, he grabbed the role of a young Shivaji in another historical drama named Peshwa Bajirao, which aired on Sony Entertainment Television.

Next year, he portrayed the character of Bindusara (the son of Emperor Chandragupta Maurya) in the Star Plus' show Chandra Nandini. It was in this show that his real-life's elder brother and actor Abhishek Nigam debuted on the small-screen for playing the role of Bhadraketu.

Owing to the fact that Siddharth was getting more exposed towards and comfortable in portraying eminent historical characters in different historical shows of various Hindi channels, he next bagged the role of Aladdin in Sony SAB's folklore story Aladdin - Naam Toh Suna Hoga and became an instant late-teen sensation through this show. The show aired in 2018 and went off-air this year. With a more defined on-air character and his own features and physique, Siddharth turned a well-known household fame in no time. This role helped him retain his versatility in terms of portraying characters from various genres.

As an adult actor, he recently featured in a music video named 'Teri Aadat', opposite TV actress Anushka Sen and for the unversed, he has also launched his own music label called 'Bon Bros Records' in collaboration with his elder brother Abhishek Nigam.

Reportedly, the matured actor is all set to join Abhishek in latter's show Hero - Gayab Mode On and this time, the duo will get to share a lot of screen-space together.

Looks like Siddharth has already started building his upcoming empire upon his very strong and self-established foundation in this industry and there's literally no stopping him ahead. If he continues delivering his charismatic stints on-screen, who knows but one day he can turn out as the country's one of the finest telly and Bolly actors with innumerable accolades in his kitty.
