Talented actress Reena Kapoor earlier essayed the lead role in Indian TV’s one of the longest shows, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki. Now Reena has migrated to doing ‘motherly’ roles, and did a fabulous job portraying the docile Bhawna in Rajan Shahi’s Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya.

After playing mother to the young girl Kaanchi Singh, Reena is all set to play the mother of the chocolate boy, Mudit Nayar in Zee &’s Shashi-Sumeet Productions show, Badi Devrani.

Yes, and Reena now feels that it is not a bad choice at all to play a mother on-screen.

Talking about it, Reena said, “Well, if you see on TV right now, all the actors who play the roles of mothers are very young. So it is perfectly fine for me to play a mother again. In fact, I will prefer to play a very good-looking and young mother (smiles). It is true that I will play a mother again in the upcoming Zee & show. Though I cannot talk much about my character now, I can only say that viewers will see me in a never-seen-before character.”

We hear that Reena will play the role of the strongest woman in the house which will be otherwise dominated by the rule of the central character in the house, essayed by Daya Shankar Pandey.

Reena’s husband and father to Mudit in the show will be played by actor Digvijay, who has earlier been part of Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya. Digvijay had played the role of Arpita’s father in the show.
