MUMBAI: Star Plus' show Imlie has been working wonders on the small screen.

Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Gashmeer Mahajani play the lead roles of Imlie and Aditya on the show.

Imlie started airing on the small screens last year in November.

The show became everyone's favourite in no time.

We all know how Aditya and Imlie's wedding happened at gunpoint on the show and it changed their lives forever.

Imlie accepted Aditya as her husband but Aditya was in love with Malini at that time.

However, circumstances changed with time and Aditya finally realised his love for Imlie.

This has further created problems for Malini who felt betrayed.

The relationships in Imlie have become quite complicated.

We all know that Sumbul Touqeer is slaying in the role of Imlie while Gashmeer Mahajani is perfectly portraying Aditya's role. 4

There's quite an age gap between Gashmeer and Sumbul. This is not the first time when an unusual jodi has been roped in to play the lead roles.

We all know that this is Sumbul's debut show on the small screen while Gashmeer is already an established actor in Hindi and Marathi industry.

There have always been several reports about actors' paychecks for their respective shows.

We all know that the actors receive money as per the number of episodes they shoot for in a month.

There are several well-known actors who get a whopping amount per episode for their shows.

When we talk about Imlie's lead actors Gashmeer and Sumbul, the duo is reportedly getting a hefty fees per episode.

As per the a news portal and media reports, Gashmeer is reportedly being paid 50,000 per episode while Sumbul is getting [aid 46,000 for a single episode.

Well, the actors have proved their mettle in acting with their stellar performances on the show and they surely deserve it.

The show premiered on 16 November 2020 on Star Plus. It stars also Mayuri Deshmukh in the pivotal role.

Imlie is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Ishti Kutum.

It is produced by Gul Khan under her production house 4 Lion Films.
