Jay Productions, who is currently entertaining the audience with Jiji Maa, is coming up with a new show. The production house is working on a show tentatively titled Pakistani Bahu. The program has been commissioned by Dangal channel.
As per media reports, Anshul Pandey is playing the male lead, TellyChakkar has exclusive information on the entire cast of the series.
The makers have roped in newbie Richa Rathore for the titular character. Richa will make her TV debut with the show. "Her innocence and naive look fitted the bills of the character," an insider reveals.
The ensemble cast comprises known names like Shefali Rana, Sandhya Shungloo, Harshita Shukla, Sunil Dutt, Afridi Saood, Ayesha Rana, Prerna Thakur, and Aakirti Aggarwal.
The show has been given the green flag by the channel. It is expected to go on floors by next month.
When we contacted Kinnari Mehta, the head honcho of the production house, she confirmed the development. However, she didn’t divulge any further information.
