Veteran actor Navin Nischol of Dekh Bhai Dekh fame is no more. The actor passed away this morning of a massive heart attack. This came as a sudden shock to many. He was 67. Nischol made his debut opposite Rekha with the Hindi film Sawan Bhadon in 1970. Navin who played Balraj in Dekh Bhai Dekh was loved by all. Says Bhavna Balsaver who played his sister-in-law in Dekh Bhai Dekh, ”I really don’t know what to say. He was very possessive about me because I was a kid back then. He used to say Meri Bhavnaon ke saath mat khelo, the pun intending on my name. He was a very genuine person and had a laid back attitude. I had met him a few weeks ago and he was still the same. I am really shocked with this.”
