Veteran actress Aruna Irani playing the central role of Bhabhi Maa in Rashmi Sharma’s show for the upcoming channel Zee & is common news.

But not many know that the renowned production house has roped in yet another stalwart in terms of acting in the show. Well, it is none other than the seasoned veteran actress Rita Bhaduri.

Yes, while Aruna Irani will be the matriarch of the male lead’s family, Rita has been roped in to play grandmother to the female lead. Rita Bhaduri was last seen in Sony TV’s Ekk Nayi Pehchaan.

Another big name who has been roped in happens to be senior actor Anil Dhawan. He will be seen playing husband to Rita Bhaduri, and grandfather of the female lead.

Well, the list does not end here… Seasoned actor Ali Raza Namdar who was recently seen in Ek Hasina Thi will also join the cast list. He will play the father of the male lead, and husband of Shweta Gautam.

Also, this interesting drama will be set up in Ujjain. The show which was till now called ‘Bhabhi Maa’ is now being referred to as ‘Bhoomi’.
